Let's be honest, there's nothing quite like the power of a perfectly timed outfit, right? But fashion, for me, goes beyond trends. It's a canvas for expressing myself, a way to pay homage to the icons who came before me, and a celebration of Black joy.
With that said Crowns & Canvas is about more than just fly thrEAdz.
As a professor, I'm obsessed with unearthing the stories of Black brilliance that often get overlooked. And because knowledge is meant to be shared, I'll be sprinkling in some personal anecdotes along the way. Maybe it's a trip to a museum that sparks a conversation about Black artists, or perhaps it's a dance performance that reignites my passion for storytelling through movement.
